Case studies & buyer programs

Real garment programs I’ve managed from Bangladesh

On this page you’ll find real Bangladesh garment sourcing case studies based on full programmes I’ve managed across woven shirts, knit tops, denim, dresses, trousers and casual outerwear for international buyers. Past work includes programmes for ZARA, Pull & Bear, Zolla, Renner, American Holic, TOPTEN-10 and other European and Asian retailers. This page shows how I matched product, MOQ, price and the right factories in Bangladesh for each programme.

How I plan MOQ, pricing and factories for each buyer

Every buyer has a different starting point – some come with 50 pcs per colour, others with 3,000+ pcs and a full seasonal range. My job is to turn that into a realistic plan from Bangladesh: confirm the right product category, put your order into a quantity tier, then match fabric, factory and FOB so both you and the factory can work safely.

Step 1 – Understand your product & quantity

  • Clarify your product: woven shirts, trousers, denim, dresses or other categories
  • Confirm quantity per color, number of colors and total quantity
  • Place the order into a realistic tier – for example 50–300 pcs, 300–600 pcs, 600–1,200 pcs, 1,200–3,000 pcs or 3,000+ pcs per color
  • Check how flexible you are to increase quantity if a better price is possible

Step 2 – Match factories, fabrics and development level

  • Decide if we use ready/stock fabric, carry-over quality or full new development
  • Match styles to the right Bangladesh factories based on category, capacity and compliance
  •  Balance wash, print and embellishment complexity with your MOQ and lead-time
  • Protect both sides: buyers get the right product; factories get styles they can actually execute

Step 3 – Align price, risk and timeline

  • Explain clearly how MOQ and fabric choice affect FOB price
  • Set up a realistic sampling and approval calendar (fit, fabric, trims, lab dips, PP, TOP)
  • Show where the main risks are – price pressure, fabric lead-time, capacity – and how to manage them
  • Only confirm programs where both buyer and factory see a sustainable business case

Ready to map your next program from Bangladesh?

Whether you have tech packs, a rough idea or only a target price, I can help you turn that into a realistic sourcing plan from Bangladesh. We can review product category, MOQ by color, fabric options, suitable factories and an honest FOB range so you know what is possible before committing.

I reply personally. If I’m not the right fit for your product, I’ll still try to point you towards better options in Bangladesh where possible.
